KB Home Tucson participates in a walk for cancer.

Brain tumors can strike men, women, and children at any age at a sobering rate, affecting more than 700,000 Americans each year. Recently, the KB Home Tucson team and their families participated in the Rancho Sahuarita Cancer Walk in order to raise funds and awareness for the National Brain Tumor Society.

The National Brain Tumor Society is devoted to finding better treatments, and ultimately a cure, for brain tumors. Donations to the charity go toward funding research, clinical trials, and advancing public policy. The Tucson team wanted to help however they could, so they collected donations, laced up their sneakers, and hit the pavement to raise $1,550 for this worthy cause.

Thank you, Tucson team, for standing up and stepping forward on behalf of brain tumor patients.
