KB Home volunteers care for the animals at the Houston SPCA.

In addition to the thousands of people that reside in KB homes, there are quite a few furry family members living in those homes as well.  In honor of these beloved pets, the animal-lovers at KB Home Houston were eager to volunteer their time at the Houston branch of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) tending to homeless pets in wait for adoption.

Even the daily duties associated with caring for these animals is no small job for the small staff at the ASPCA, so the KB Home Houston team stepped up to feed, exercise, and play with the animals, as well as help keep the facility clean. In addition, the KB Home Houston team donated $250 toward the shelter’s operational costs.

KB Home salutes the Houston team for supporting the ASPCA’s important work caring for and sheltering animals in need of a kind family and a place to call home. Great job!
